What We Did
In honor of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2026, STOP. launched an interactive role-playing game on Instagram, alongside real voices and stories from migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong.
Optional Illusions, Harsh Reality
From 28 to 30 July 2026, 461 readers played the role of a migrant domestic worker on our Instagram stories and made their own decisions throughout the journey as below:
If you play the game according to the rules, you always lose – this reflects the struggles of migrant workers in making the choice that leads to the least bad outcome.
Not Just a Game, But Real Life
The IG game cannot fully capture the scale of hardship and exploitation that migrant domestic workers face. STOP.’s 2025 research Understanding Vulnerabilities and Agency: Migrant Domestic Workers from Minority Source Countries in Hong Kong found that 94% (34/36) of respondents experienced exploitation.

We have met young Indonesian men trapped in Hong Kong through false job advertisements and helped Nepali migrant workers who were doxxed and isolated after false accusations of theft from the employer (click for full story). These stories are not rare, they happen every day.
To help these migrant domestic workers make more informed decisions on their journey, STOP. offers pre-departure leaflets in different languages, connects at-risk individuals with STOP. through resource cards, holds diverse workshops on labour rights in Hong Kong and provides trauma-informed casework and financial support when they are pursuing justice.
New Toolkit Launched
To mark this special day, STOP. is pleased to officially launch our Decision Tree Game Toolkit, an educational tool for public education.

為響應 2026 年世界打擊販運人口行為日 ，STOP. 在 Instagram 推出互動式角色扮演遊戲，並同時分享香港外籍家庭金工的真實聲音與故事。
殘酷的現實，虛設的選擇
由 2026 年 7 月 28 日至 30 日，共有461 位讀者參與了遊戲。讀者會扮演一名外籍家庭傭工，體驗他們的求職經歷，並在整個旅程中作出不同選擇。投票結果如下：

這正正反映了許多外籍勞工所面對的處境：在有限的選擇中，只能不斷尋找傷害最少的出路。
這不只是一個遊戲，而是真實的人生
單單一個Instagram 上的互動遊戲，無法完全呈現外籍家庭傭工所面對的艱難處境與剝削經歷。STOP. 於 2025 年發表的研究報告《認識來自少數族裔來源國家的外籍家庭傭工在香港的脆弱處境與自主能力》（Understanding Vulnerabilities and Agency: Migrant Domestic Workers from Minority Source Countries in Hong Kong）發現，94%（34/36）的受訪者曾經歷不同形式的剝削。

我們曾接觸被虛假招聘廣告誘騙來港的印尼年輕男子；亦曾協助因遭僱主誣告偷竊而被起底、被社群孤立的尼泊爾籍外籍家庭傭工（點擊閱讀完整故事）。
這些故事並不罕見，它們每天都在發生。
為了幫助外籍家庭傭工在人生旅程中作出更明智的選擇，STOP 提供不同語言版本的離境前資訊指南，透過資源卡接觸高風險人士，舉辦多元化勞工權益工作坊，並為尋求公義的人提供以創傷知情為本的個案服務及經濟支援。
全新遊戲套裝正式推出
為紀念這個特別的日子，STOP. 很高興正式推出 「決策樹遊戲套裝 」(Decision Tree Game Toolkit)，作為推動公眾教育的重要工具。
