CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

SUMMER SCHOOL HELPERS (ROAD)

  • Assist in designing and organizing a variety of fun and educational activities for P1-P6 students (7-12 years old)
  • Date: 5 Aug – 23 Aug (3 weeks) Monday to Friday only
  • Time: 9:30am to 1:00pm (half day)
  • Commitment: one week or more


SUMMER SCHOOL CANTONESE TEACHERS (ROAD)

  • Lesson Planning: Following lesson plans that focus on teaching basic spoken Cantonese to parents, considering their specific needs and goals.
  • Language Instruction: Deliver interactive and conversational Cantonese lessons, emphasizing essential vocabulary, phrases, and pronunciation to enhance parents’ ability to communicate with their children effectively. 
  • Cultural Integration: Introduce cultural aspects of the Cantonese language, including customs, traditions, and social etiquette, to provide a holistic learning experience for the parents.
  • Instructional Resources: Utilize existing materials, such as language guides, audio recordings, and visual aids, to support parents’ language learning journey.
  • Date: 5 Aug – 23 Aug (3 weeks) Monday to Friday only
  • Time: 10:15-11:15am (or anytime between 10:15 am to 1:00pm)


SUMMER SCHOOL INTERNS (ROAD)

  • Assist the Summer School Coordinator in planning and organizing the summer school program, including scheduling classes, workshops, parents workshops and recreational activities.
  • Provide on-site support during the summer school, ensuring classrooms are set up properly, materials are readily available, and technical equipment is functioning correctly.

SPONSOR ACQUISITION VOLUNTEER (HOME & AWAY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2024)

  • Generate sponsor leads
  • Outreach to potential sponsors
  • Work with the Partnerships team to successfully convert leads
  • Coordinate sponsor on-boarding
  • Commitment: 15 hours a week, with attendance on event day (October 11, from 7:30AM- 6PM)
  • Location: Remote, with some meetings at the office
  • Skill: Experience with Sales/ Business Development/ Partnerships required, Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (required) and Cantonese (preferred), Experience with Canva


EVENT COORDINATOR (HOME & AWAY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2024)

  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of event related material
  • Work closely with Volunteer Coordinator, Team Coordinator, Referee Coordinator, Family Corner Coordinator, Impact Corner volunteers, Logistics volunteers and Photographers to ensure smooth execution of the event
  • Collect feedback from different stakeholders and work with Event Specialist to create the post-event report
  • Assist with post-event wrap up
  • Commitment: 10 hours a week, with attendance on event day (October 11, from 7:30AM- 6PM)
  • Location: Remote, with some meetings at the office
  • Skill: Experience with event management preferred, Strong project management skills, Strong planning and time management skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese


VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR (HOME & AWAY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2024)

  • Help recruit and select volunteers for the various roles
  • Manage volunteer engagement and outcomes
  • Coordinate volunteer briefings and trainings
  • Manage volunteers on the day of the event to ensure smooth execution
  • Assist with volunteer gratitude and certificates at the end of the event
  • Commitment: 15 hours a week, with attendance on event day (October 11, from 7:30AM- 6PM)
  • Location: Remote, with some meetings at the office
  • Skill: Management experience required, experience with volunteer management preferred, Strong project management skills, Strong planning and time management skills


CASEWORK ASSISTANTS (STOP & ROAD)


INTERPRETERS (STOP & ROAD)

  • Provide interpretation service during meetings with trafficked individuals with limited English proficiency
  • Translate documents from English to the required languages for individuals who are seeking legal remedy

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT (BOH)

  • Provide general office support, including clerical tasks, Maintaining files, sorting donations, and updating the office inventory under the guidance of the Office Manager
  • Assisting with data entry
  • Volunteers proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint lists, and Power Automate are preferred
  • At least 4 Hour per week during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-6 PM)


COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT (BOH)

  • Manage and produce creative content for website, social media, publications
  • Help develop and maintain communication protocols internally and externally
  • Design Branches of Hope promotion materials
  • Design marketing strategy and campaign
  • Can work remotely
