BOH CHRISTMAS FUN FAIR 2024 – EVENT HELPERS
As we approach the festive season, let’s come together to spread joy and love to refugee and asylum seekers’ children & their families at our BOH Christmas Gift Giving 2024 event! Your involvement would be invaluable in making this Christmas celebration a success!
We need volunteers for various tasks such as gift distribution, game booths, Christmas card & cookies making etc. Please click on sign up form above to see details. Let’s make this Christmas special for these children and their families! Your support and presence will make a huge difference.

BOH ADVENT BAKE SALE 2024 – BAKER & SET-UP, SALE VOLUNTEERS
The holiday season is upon us, and we’re excited to announce that the Branches of Hope and The Vine Church’s Advent Bake Sale is back! We‘re seeking enthusiastic volunteers and skilled bakers to join our festive team this year!
Date: 15th December (Sunday)
Event Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm

VOLUNTEER ENGLISH TEACHER (ROAD)
- Conduct assessment to new students and decide which class level they are in
- Design class structure
- Prepare class materials and handouts

CASEWORK ASSISTANTS (STOP & ROAD)
- Assist Caseworkers in facilitating client support groups
- Assist BOH clients to go to appointments with the authorities

INTERPRETERS (STOP & ROAD)
- Provide interpretation service during meetings with trafficked individuals with limited English proficiency
- Translate documents from English to the required languages for individuals who are seeking legal remedy

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT (BOH)
- Provide general office support, including clerical tasks, Maintaining files, sorting donations, and updating the office inventory under the guidance of the Office Manager
- Assisting with data entry
- Volunteers proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint lists, and Power Automate are preferred
- At least 4 Hour per week during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-6 PM)
COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT (BOH)
- Manage and produce creative content for website, social media, publications
- Help develop and maintain communication protocols internally and externally
- Design Branches of Hope promotion materials
- Design marketing strategy and campaign
- Can work remotely
- At least 4 Hour per week
