Branches of Hope Limited is a tax-exempt charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. Branches of Hope is vetted by Give2Asia, accountable to their values of transparency, accountability, and effectiveness. As an independent not-for-profit organisation, we receive no government funding and rely solely on fundraising and donations.
Refugees, asylum seekers and human trafficking victims live under the poverty line in Hong Kong. Branches of Hope supports them with our wholistic approach: Care, Empowerment and Social Reform.

Donations of HKD100 or above are eligible for a tax-deductible receipt. Please send the donor information (Full name for tax receipt, contact number & email address) together with screen capture of the donation to accounts@branchesofhope.org.hk. We recommand FPS payment, which does not incur any additional bank charges.

FOR U.S. TAX RECEIPT
For US taxpayer, please issue a cheque to “Friends of Hong Kong Charities Inc.” and leave the lower left corner of the cheque blank. You may also donate via credit card on FOHKC website and select Branches of Hope Limited.
Tax receipts can only be issued for donation of at least US$100 or HK$800.
REMARKS
- Donation of HK$100 or above will receive annual tax-deductible receipts in May.
- Employer Donation Matching – If you work for Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Google or Macquarie Group, please contact your employer for a matching donation.
- For monthly donation below HK$800, the charity reserves the right to allocate the fund as general donations.
- All collected personal data will be kept strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of receipt issuance or direct communication with you.
- You have the right of access to, and correction of, personal data kept and used by Branches of Hope Limited in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
